Father of the year – Mahavir Narwal

Natasha Narwal, a JNU scholar and co-founder of the feminist collective ‘Pinjra Tod’, is one of the many of anti-CAA activists arrested under the draconian UAPA. She is falsely accused of inciting violence. Her father, Mahavir Narwal, a scientist and teacher, died on 9th May 2021 due to Covid-19. Mahavir Narwal recounts his special relationship as he raised Natasha and her brother as a single parent. He is proud of his daughter’s grit and determination to stand up for the oppressed.
