United Girls Of  Mumbra

“My neighbours would tell me football is a waste of time and I should focus on household work. The day I become a successful football player, that alone will say it all. We just want to live freely and play freely”. Says Khushi Bhatia, a young football player from Mumbra – a suburb of Thane district in Maharashtra.

Coached by Saba Parveen, head of Rahein Foundation, this young group of girls wish to achieve their goal of becoming football players one day. They prove that it’s not necessary to be tough and have a good ground to be able to learn football. All one needs is an opportunity.
